Supporting Spartanburg Through In-Kind Donations
Your in-kind donations of goods, supplies, and materials provide essential support to individuals and families in need throughout Spartanburg. From clothing and household items to food and personal care products, every donation makes a meaningful difference in someone's life.
In kind donations
We appreciate your generosity in supporting housing and homelessness efforts in Spartanburg County. Please review our guidelines to ensure donations are safe, usable, and meet current needs.
General Requirements
- All items must be freshly washed or cleaned before donation.
- Items should be in good condition with no major damage. Minor blemishes are acceptable if they do not affect the item's integrity.
- Each donation must be accompanied by a completed Community Donation Form.
- Donations must be dropped off—we are unable to offer pick-up service.
- Before donating, call us at (864) 580-5022
so we can:
- Confirm we have a current need for your items.
- Arrange a time and location for drop-off.
- Answer questions about what we can and cannot accept.
If we cannot accept your donation at this time, we will recommend another local organization that may have a greater need, such as: The Bridge at Green Street(clothing donations), Miracle Hill, Project REST, TOTAL Ministries(food donations), and Greater Spartanburg Ministries(food donations).
Large Item Donations
For larger donations such as vehicles, homes, or property, please contact us to discuss.
Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to decline any donation if:
- We have no immediate need.
- The item does not meet our quality standards.
- We do not have adequate storage space.
Items We Do Not Accept
- Food
- Stuffed animals (new or used)
- Clothing, undergarments, or jewelry (new or used)
- Used bedding of any kind
- Used towels
- Weapons (including toy weapons)
- Medicines
